Haus of Intelligence is a Bloomology Studio vertical, operated by Bloomology LLC ("Haus of Intelligence," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, apply to a Sprint, register for an event, subscribe to The Brief, or otherwise engage with us — how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you hold over it.

01 — Who we are

Haus of Intelligence is a brand of Bloomology Studio, operated by Bloomology LLC. This Privacy Policy governs the website, our Sprints and knowledge-capital programs, our live events, and The Brief.

For visitors in the European Union and United Kingdom, Bloomology LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

We collect personal information only as needed to respond to you, deliver what you request, operate our website and programs, process transactions, and comply with legal obligations.

Information you provide directly

When you submit an inquiry, application, registration, or similar form, we may collect:

• Professional background, role, expertise, and years of experience
• Information about your goals, challenges, readiness, timeline, or program fit
• Messages, form responses, or other information you choose to provide

Payment and transaction information

When you register for a paid program or event, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects payment details needed to complete your transaction. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers, but we may receive transaction records such as your name, email address, payment status, purchase amount, and purchase date.

Newsletter information

If you subscribe to The Brief, Substack collects and manages your subscription information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may have access to subscriber information such as your email address, subscription status, and engagement with newsletter communications.

Technical and usage information

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, and similar diagnostic or usage data. This information helps us operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

Third-party tools and hosted materials

Our free Skill and related materials may be hosted on GitHub. Accessing, downloading, or running those materials is governed by GitHub's terms and privacy practices, as well as any tools you choose to use with them. Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal information to open-text fields, public repositories, or third-party tools unless you are comfortable with how those services process that information.

• Legal obligation — where we must process information for tax and financial record-keeping tied to payments

06 — How we share your information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:

• Payments (Stripe) — to process event and program payments
• Form handling (Formspree) — to receive and route form submissions to us
• Database and storage (Supabase) — the infrastructure where we store application and inquiry information
• Newsletter (Substack) — to manage subscriptions and deliver The Brief
• Code and materials hosting (GitHub) — for our free Skill and related resources
• Website hosting and infrastructure providers who host and deliver the site

Each provider processes information under its own terms and, where it acts on our behalf, on our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Bloomology LLC or others. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

07 — International data transfers

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may store or process data in the United States or other countries. If you're located in the EU or UK, your information will be transferred outside your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect information transferred internationally.

08 — Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

• Application and inquiry details — generally retained while we are in contact with you and for up to 24 months afterward, unless we need to keep them longer for legal, operational, dispute-resolution, or relationship-management purposes.
• Program and event records — retained for the duration of the program or event and for a reasonable period afterward to manage participation, support, records, and follow-up.
• Payment and transaction records — retained as required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.
• Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to Substack's own retention practices.
• Technical and security logs — retained for a limited period needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely retain it only as required by law or legitimate business needs.

09 — Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your information in a portable format.

11 — Third-party links and embedded content

Our website may link to or embed third-party services we don't control, including a Substack subscription embed and links to GitHub. This policy doesn't apply to those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12 — Children's privacy

Our website, programs, and materials are intended for adult professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at hello@thebloomology.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Our programs are not intended for users under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it or take other appropriate action.
